Description
A folding rocking chair constructed from walnut or a similar medium-toned hardwood, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece features a high, waisted backrest surmounted by a top rail with a relief-carved floral crest. Both the backrest and the seat are inset with floral tapestry panels, secured with a braided gimp trim. The chair is designed with a folding mechanism, allowing the frame to collapse for storage.
