Description
A Royal Doulton fine bone china figurine titled Catherine of Aragon, model number HN 3233. The figure is depicted in a seated position wearing a Tudor-style ensemble comprising a blue bodice with white ermine-effect sleeves, a green brocade-patterned skirt, and a red gable hood. She holds a small marmoset on her lap, with a low wooden table to her side displaying a set of playing cards. The base features the printed Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp, along with the text Hand made and hand decorated, Royal Doulton, Catherine of Aragon, HN 3233, Issued in a limited edition of 9,500, and the specific edition number 3815. It also includes the printed signature of the modeller P. Parsons and the copyright date 1990 Royal Doulton. A small handwritten green mark DS is also present on the underside.
