Two Royal Doulton Porcelain Figurines Geraldine HN 2348 and Sonia HN 2338
Description
A pair of Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurines. The first figurine, titled Geraldine (HN 2348), depicts a standing female figure in an olive-brown dress with a white ruffled collar and cuffs, featuring white floral sprigs on the lower skirt and a yellow headband. The second figurine, titled Sonia (HN 2338), depicts a reclining female figure on a green chaise longue with red scrollwork, wearing a cream-coloured dress and holding a basket of multicoloured flowers. Both figurines feature the Royal Doulton printed backstamp with a lion atop a crown. Geraldine is marked with a 1971 copyright date and registration numbers Rd No 953244, 58853, 12516, and 57971. Sonia is marked with a 1970 copyright date, registration numbers Rd No 949430, 57279, 12388, and 56985, and includes a hand-painted green AT decorator mark.
