A Pair of Late 18th-Century Style Stipple Engravings Printed in Colours
Description
A pair of prints comprising two stipple engravings printed in colours, each depicting a lady in an interior setting within a circular reserve. The first subject features a woman wearing a large feathered hat reading a letter at a table laid with a tea service. The second subject shows a similar figure in a feathered hat holding a cup and saucer with a coffee pot positioned nearby. The prints are presented in square dark brown mounts and housed in simple wooden frames with a light-coloured inner slip. No signatures, edition numbers, publisher’s marks, or manufacturer marks are visible on the surfaces.
