A Mid-20th Century Sheraton Style Inlaid Mahogany Bow Front Sideboard
Description
This mid-20th century mahogany sideboard is designed in the Sheraton style, featuring a bow-fronted central drawer positioned above an arched kneehole, which is flanked by two side cupboards. The cupboard doors are embellished with circular flame mahogany veneers and light wood stringing, while the kneehole spandrels are accented with carved fan motifs. The sideboard is supported by six square tapered legs terminating in spade feet. It is fitted with brass drop-ring handles on circular backplates, and a key remains in the central drawer lock. The construction utilizes mahogany with decorative flame mahogany veneers and light wood inlays.
