Beswick and Other Ceramic Animal Figurines and Collectables Restoration items
Description
A collection of glazed ceramic animal figurines and miscellaneous decorative items, including several pieces in the style of Beswick. The lot features a large Shire horse in bay gloss with a white blaze and feathered feet, a smaller brown horse, a white horse, and a small white porcelain foal. Also included is a naturalistically modelled cow, likely a Jersey or Guernsey breed, and a sitting ginger tabby cat. The lot is accompanied by a transfer-printed portrait flask, a vintage hand-stitched leather pouch, and an ornate floral gilt porcelain teacup and saucer. Height of largest horse approx. 21cm.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall vintage condition. The white horse shows some surface discolouration on the hindquarters. Typical light shelf wear and fine glaze crazing may be present. No major chips or professional restoration visible.
