Description
A diverse assortment of decorative ceramic and pottery items, primarily of British and European origin, suitable for restoration or study. The collection includes a large bulbous vessel featuring a vibrant green and blue glaze with molded relief decoration at the base, characteristic of Poole Pottery or similar studio ware. Also featured is a white ceramic lidded jar decorated with hand-painted blue script and bow motifs in a traditional faience style. The lot contains various small pitchers and vessels finished in a range of high-gloss brown, orange, and red glazes, alongside a selection of polychrome ceramic figurines, notably a standing female figure in a white dress holding flowers and several small animal-form figures. Techniques represented include hand-painting, slip-casting, and various glaze applications from matte to high-gloss. The items reflect styles from the early 20th century through to the Mid-Century Modern period. Dimensions variable.
