Description
A mid-20th-century mantel clock manufactured by Smiths Enfield, featuring an arched wooden case with an oak finish. The timepiece is fitted with a chrome-plated bezel and a protective glass dial cover. The brushed metal dial displays the maker’s mark SMITHS ENFIELD and MADE IN ENGLAND, featuring black Arabic numerals and two winding apertures, indicating a mechanical striking movement. This piece represents a classic example of British domestic horology from the post-war era. Dimensions: Height approximately 21 cm.

The mechanical movement is untested for timekeeping or striking functionality; no winding key is included. The wooden case exhibits age-related wear, including surface scratches and scuffs.
