Description
A mixed assembly of fine bone china tableware by prominent British manufacturers. The collection includes three Royal Doulton shallow oval dishes in the Arcadia pattern (H. 4802), decorated with polychrome floral sprays and finished with gilded rims. Also featured is a suite of airline service ware produced by Royal Doulton for Air New Zealand, comprising three small circular bowls and five shallow butter or snack dishes, all characterised by a distinctive solid teal blue exterior glaze and white interior. Completing the lot is a teacup and saucer set by Queen’s China from the Flower of the Month series for March, depicting daffodils with transfer-printed floral motifs and gold-tone accents. Marks include the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp with pattern details, the Air New Zealand corporate logo alongside the Royal Doulton mark, and the Queen’s China factory mark. Largest dishes approximately 18cm in length.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition, exhibiting no visible chips, cracks, or significant restoration. There is minor surface wear and light rubbing to the gilded rims consistent with age and occasional use.
