Description
A hand-blown art glass figurine in the Murano style, likely an import by Febland. The piece features a lampworked frog with a vibrant red body and applied black-spotted decoration. The frog is mounted upon a thick, clear glass base executed in the bullicante technique, displaying a pattern of controlled internal air bubbles. The colour palette includes an opaque bright red with black markings and monochrome details to the eyes. No maker’s signatures or original labels are present, though a small white inventory label numbered 281.9 is adhered to the base. Dimensions: approximately 11.5 cm in length and 7.5 cm in height.
Condition report:
The figurine appears to be in very good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs upon visual inspection. The glass surface retains a high-gloss finish.
