Victorian Carved Walnut Ladies Parlour Chair
Description
A Victorian-style ladies parlour chair, also known as a nursing chair, featuring a dark-stained wood frame with a high-gloss finish. The chair is constructed with a distinctive balloon-shaped backrest and cabriole legs. The seat and backrest are upholstered in terracotta-coloured plush velvet, secured with a border of brass-toned nailhead trim. A small identification tag is located on the left side of the outer frame.
Condition report:
The chair is in good overall condition, exhibiting minor surface wear to the wood frame consistent with age and use. The upholstery and nailhead trim appear intact.
