A contemporary ergonomic swivel recliner and matching ottoman, designed in the Scandinavian modern style. The suite is upholstered in a rich burgundy leather, featuring a high backrest with an integrated headrest, contoured padded armrests, and segmented cushioning designed for lumbar support. The chair and ottoman are supported by circular dark-stained bentwood swivel bases, likely constructed from laminated beech with a mahogany-tone finish. The construction utilises a mechanical swivel and reclining mechanism with robust internal framing and thick-gauge leather upholstery. While reminiscent of the Ekornes Stressless designs, this example bears no visible maker’s marks, though the quality is consistent with manufacturers such as Lane Furniture.
