Description
Attributed to LaBarge. Mirrored glass and brass-toned metal wall mirror. This contemporary rectangular piece features a central looking glass inset within a secondary border of mitred mirror panels, creating a multi-dimensional framed effect. The design is finished with a slender gold-toned metal trim that separates the individual glass sections and defines the outer perimeter. Stylistically, the piece exhibits a Modernist or Art Deco revival aesthetic typical of the late 20th century. Unsigned. 102 cm x 76 cm.
Condition report:
The mirrored surfaces appear clear and free of significant desilvering, chips, or cracks. Minor surface dust and smudges typical of handling are present. The gold-toned metal trim shows light surface wear and minor oxidation consistent with age. The frame and glass sections remain securely fitted.
