Description
A comprehensive stainless steel flatware service for six by Viners of Sheffield in the iconic Studio pattern. Designed by Gerald Benney, this mid-century modern set the signature textured bark-effect handles. The service comprises six dinner knives, side knives, six dinner forks, six dessert forks, six soup spoons, six dessert spoons, teaspoons, and two serving spoons. The knife blades are stamped Stainless England. Housed in the original fitted wooden canteen with a green velvet-lined interior and maker’s label.
Condition report:
The set is in good overall condition, showing light surface scratches and signs of use consistent with age. The knife blades are in good order. No monograms or personal engravings are present. The wooden canteen shows minor external scuffs but remains structurally sound with a clean interior.
