A German Gustav Becker Oak Box Regulator Wall Clock
Description
A German box regulator wall clock attributed to Gustav Becker. The rectangular case is constructed from stained oak featuring decorative fluted pilasters and carved floral accents. The circular brass-toned dial is set behind a glass pane and displays black Arabic numerals, two hands, and two winding apertures. Below the dial, a segmented glass window reveals a circular pendulum. The clock includes a winding key currently attached to the right side of the case. A small white identification sticker with the number 9241 is present on the lower left of the case.
Condition report:
The item shows minor surface wear and light abrasions to the wooden case consistent with age. There is visible tarnishing and oxidation to the metal dial and internal components. The mechanical functionality has not been tested.
