A Gustav Becker Oak Regulator Wall Clock
Description
A Gustav Becker oak regulator wall clock, dating to the early 20th century. The dark-stained oak case features a shaped pediment with a central oval relief and decorative beaded moulding. The circular metal dial is set with Arabic numerals and features two winding holes. Below the dial, a rectangular door with leaded-style glass panels reveals a circular brass-toned pendulum. The clock is constructed with a mechanical movement, typical of German production from the 1920s.
Condition report:
The clock displays age-appropriate wear, including minor surface scuffs to the wooden case and a light patina to the metal dial. A small white identification sticker marked 9291 is affixed to the upper pediment.
