Royal Doulton, Humpty Dumpty and Mask Seller Figurines
Description
This lot features two Royal Doulton glazed porcelain figurines. The first is a character study of Humpty Dumpty from the Nursery Rhyme Collection, produced exclusively for UK International Ceramics Ltd. The piece is a limited edition, numbered 600 of 1,500, and features the character in a colourful red, yellow, and blue outfit seated on a stone wall. It bears the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp and a 1999 copyright mark. The second is a miniature Mask Seller figurine (HN 4934) from the Best of the Classics series and Miniature Street Vendors collection. The figure depicts a street vendor in a green cloak carrying various theatrical masks. It retains its original factory barcode label, is marked Made in China, and is accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity. Heights approximately 11cm and 10cm.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restorations. An auction house inventory sticker is present on the side of the Mask Seller base.
