An Austinsuite mid-century modern tallboy chest of drawers, featuring teak veneer construction. The piece is configured with six uniform drawers in a vertical arrangement. Each drawer is fitted with a vertically oriented, sculpted wooden pull handle, characteristic of the minimalist aesthetic of the period. The cabinet is designed with a flat top and clean, rectilinear lines. This design is frequently associated with the work of Frank Guille for Austin Suite.
Condition report:
The chest displays minor surface wear consistent with age and previous use. There are small scuffs visible on the side panels and several small marks on the drawer fronts.
