Description
A Mid-Century Modern tall chest of drawers, dating from the 1950s or 1960s, featuring the clean-lined minimalist aesthetic characteristic of the period. The piece is constructed with a light-toned oak over The design comprises four full-width drawers, each fitted with a pair of distinctive, blocky solid wood pull handles that define the Riviera style. The chest sits upon a simple recessed plinth base, typical of mass-market modernism from the mid-20th century. While no maker’s labels are present, the styling and construction are representative of high-quality American or British production of the era, such as that by Conant Ball or similar manufacturers. The drawers feature machine-cut joinery consistent with mid-century industrial techniques. Dimensions: Approximately 112cm H x 86cm W x 46cm D.
