Description
A collection of mid-20th-century ceramic and porcelain novelty figurines and household objects. The group includes two larger figural busts of individuals wearing hats, character-themed figurines, and an assortment of novelty salt and pepper shakers. One blue figural shaker is marked Little Mary. The lot also contains a green glazed vase with foliate relief, several small animal-shaped banks in a black glaze, and figurines in traditional European-style dress. Several pieces exhibit characteristics of mid-century novelty ware, including examples of Black Americana and a black harp-shaped object. The items are constructed of glazed and painted ceramic and porcelain. A lot tag from Shelbys Auctioneers marked Lot 338 is present.
