A Collection of Antique and Vintage Albums and Books
Description
A collection of antique and vintage albums and books of various periods and styles. The group includes a Victorian-style photo album featuring a black cover with gold-tooled Greek key borders, a central brass cartouche, and gilded page edges. This album retains a lot sticker for Shelby’s Auctioneers. Also present is a blue leather-bound album containing internal plastic sleeves and a maroon leather-bound volume. The collection includes a large antique volume with an embossed leather cover and a heavily distressed, frayed spine, alongside a copy of The People’s Standard History of the United States. A modern spiral-bound book titled Scraps bits and pieces is also included. Construction materials include leather, cloth, board, metal, and plastic.
