Description
A glazed ceramic wall mask depicting the Charles Dickens character Mr. Micawber. The figure is modeled wearing a black top hat and a high collar, with hand-painted features including blue eyes and rosy cheeks. The reverse is impressed with the character name and the quote: Until something turns up, I have nothing to bestow but advice. The back also bears the impressed model number 280 and the mark MADE IN ENGLAND. A central aperture is present for wall mounting.
