Royal Doulton Stoneware Globular Vessel with Foliate Relief
Description
A Royal Doulton stoneware vessel of globular form featuring a flared, wavy rim. The exterior is decorated with stylized foliate motifs in high relief. The vessel is finished in a dark, mottled brown glaze, while the raised decorative elements are highlighted in a metallic-bronze tone. The underside is impressed with the Royal Doulton factory mark, comprising a crown above a circular DOULTON ENGLAND stamp. Additional impressed marks include the numbers 1056 and 7260206.
