Description
A Royal Doulton bone china figurine titled The Potter, model number HN 1493, designed by Charles Noke. The hand-painted piece depicts a seated male figure wearing a hooded brown robe and a turban, surrounded by an assortment of small vessels and pots in various colors. The figure is positioned on a base modeled as a fringed rug in shades of blue and purple. The entire piece is finished with a high-gloss glaze. The underside displays the green Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp, the handwritten title The Potter, and the identification number HN 1493.
