A Large Collection of 35+ Antique Bisque and Composition Doll Components and Salvage Parts
Description
A large collection of antique and vintage disassembled doll components and salvage parts, presented within a modern black aluminum-framed storage case. The lot contains a minimum of 35 distinct items, component groups, or containers. The components are constructed from various materials including bisque, painted and unpainted porcelain (china), composition, and stuffed cloth. Research suggests the presence of components consistent with German manufacture, potentially including examples from makers such as Heubach Koppelsdorf, based on the style of the bisque heads and the context of similar auction lots. The components include numerous doll heads, limbs, torsos, and partial bodies. Several smaller components are sorted into approximately 10 clear plastic bags, one of which contains illegible handwritten text on an affixed paper label.
