Lorna Bailey Limited Edition The Marmalade Charger Plate
Description
A single Lorna Bailey limited edition ceramic charger plate, attributed to the pattern “The Marmalade Charger” based on comparable market listings. The plate features a high-relief molded design depicting an orange and red fox-like creature with a bushy yellow tail positioned centrally. The decoration utilizes bright, glossy glazes showing a brightly colored house set against a dark blue sky containing a crescent moon with a face. The reverse side is white glazed ceramic. Inscriptions on the reverse include the limited edition number “28/50” handwritten in blue ink, along with an illegible signature. Affixed to the reverse is a Certificate of Authentication (COA) for “The Maranda Collection,” confirming the Limited Edition No. 28, and bearing the printed signature of Gary Maranda.
