A Collection of 20 Framed Artworks, Loose Frames, and Moulding Pieces in a Wicker Basket
Description
A heterogeneous collection of 20 items comprising framed artworks, loose picture frames, and assorted lengths of frame moulding, all contained within a large, rectangular, woven wicker or rattan storage basket. The framed artworks include several small- to medium-sized prints matted within bright gold-finished wooden frames. Subjects observed include zoological illustrations, specifically two prints depicting shrews or mice, one of which is visibly signed David Gravett. Other framed prints include a botanical illustration of fruit on a branch and a detailed landscape depicting a lake and mountainous terrain. The remaining materials are stacked vertically and horizontally and consist of assorted moulding pieces and loose frames in various finishes. These finishes include polished dark wood, natural light wood (appearing to be oak or pine), simple black frames, lengths of gold moulding, and one decorative frame featuring a dark red field with green and yellow patterning.
