Moorcroft Hibiscus Pattern Ceramic Pin Dish
Description
A Moorcroft ceramic pin dish executed in the popular Hibiscus pattern. This single item features a high-fired, glossy glaze over a stylized floral design rendered in raised relief, likely achieved through tube-lining. The central decoration depicts a hibiscus flower in deep red and cobalt blue, set against a dark blue-black ground, framed by a broad emerald green rim. The reverse is glazed in deep indigo blue. The base bears the characteristic circular impressed mark containing the Royal Coat of Arms, the cursive Moorcroft signature stamp, and the inscription POTTERS TO THE LATE QUEEN MARY, indicating a mid-to-late 20th-century period of production.
