Moorcroft Pottery Anemone Pattern Oval Dish
Description
A single oval ceramic dish manufactured by Moorcroft Pottery, decorated in the popular Anemone pattern. The earthenware body is covered in a deep, mottled cobalt blue ground glaze. The decoration features large, stylized anemone flowers in shades of deep red, burgundy, and purple, accented by green foliage, all executed using the tube-lining technique. The piece has a highly reflective, glossy finish. The underside features a cream-colored recessed center bearing the impressed or stamped marks MOORCROFT, MADE IN, and ENGLAND. An applied rectangular white sticker marked 3773 is present on the top surface.
