A Pair of Stag Minstrel Chests of Drawers
Description
A pair of vintage Stag Minstrel range chests of drawers constructed of dark brown stained wood, likely finished in mahogany veneer. The lot comprises two primary pieces of furniture stacked together. The larger lower piece is a dressing chest or dresser featuring a five-drawer configuration: a top row of three small drawers above two long, full-width drawers. The smaller upper piece is a matching three-drawer side chest or nightstand, resting on short legs that create an open lower section. Both chests are fitted with mixed brass hardware, including small brass knobs for the top drawers and larger brass ring pulls for the lower drawers. The overall style is traditional, consistent with the Stag Minstrel range. A portion of a third item, a traditional wooden chair with a patterned upholstered seat, is partially visible to the right of the chests.
