A collection of antique weighing instruments, including several Gould-type balance scales, primarily crafted from brass and various woods. The group comprises at least three distinct brass balance scales, featuring both circular and square pans, mounted on carved wooden bases, some with integrated recesses. A partially open wooden case contains a drawer and appears to house components of a larger scale, including a tall, slender brass measuring rod.
