Description
A pair of vintage German Steiff Mecki and Micki hedgehog dolls, circa 1950s-1960s. Both dolls feature molded rubber heads with painted facial features, and textile and faux fur elements in their attire. The taller doll, Mecki, is dressed in a green pointed hat, yellow shirt, green lederhosen-style outfit with brown suspenders embossed ‘GERMANY’, white socks, and black shoes. The smaller doll, Micki, wears a green pointed hat, red jacket, a green and white checkered tunic with heart and square motifs, furry brown trousers, and red shoes.
