A Collection of Seven Vintage and Decorative Boxes, including Jewelry Cabinets
Description
This lot comprises a collection of seven miscellaneous storage and decorative boxes, primarily constructed from wood and various coverings. Central to the group is a dark-finished, possibly painted wooden jewelry cabinet featuring three small drawers with ornate pulls and a single hinged door with a clear panel revealing painted floral motifs (red, white, blue, green). This cabinet rests on a plain tan leather or faux leather lidded box. To the right, a smaller red-stained wooden chest features two drawers with similar ornate metal pull handles and a scalloped bottom edge. In the foreground are a rectangular box with a textured green-gold exterior and a clear top, and a larger, textured cream-colored box with a brass-toned clasp, on which rests a small blue lidded box adorned with a white classical-style figure or scene.
