A Neoclassical Style Glass-Topped Dining Table and Six Upholstered Chairs
Description
A Neoclassical style dining set comprising a round glass-topped table and six upholstered dining chairs. The table features a central multi-component base with a tiered, oval-shaped platform of veined, light-colored stone, likely marble or alabaster. Four decorative, fluted or reeded columns emerge from the platform, appearing to be distressed painted wood or composite with off-white and gold gilt finishes, supporting the glass top. The accompanying six chairs are constructed with wooden frames, finished in a distressed cream or off-white with gold gilt accents. They exhibit a Neoclassical or French Provincial style, characterized by carved rosettes and fluted legs. The chairs are upholstered in a striped fabric in muted tones of beige, cream, and pale brown, featuring varying stripe patterns and decorative bands. A white sticker with the marking “L268” is present on one chair.
