Description
A collection of approximately two dozen glazed porcelain and ceramic decorative objects, including various figurines, busts, and figural vases. The pieces are predominantly in a Rococo Revival or Victorian-era to early 20th-century style, depicting women, children, and allegorical figures. They feature pastel color palettes with gilt accents and include themes such as a boy in a striped cap, a woman in a long dress, a “nurse” figure, and several female busts with elaborate coiffures or bonnets. Visible markings include adhesive labels with lot numbers “6182” (on two items) and “682.” One base bears embossed text reading “The last in bed to put out the light.”
