Two Lladró Porcelain Figurines, "Donkey in Love" and "Basket of Puppies"
Description
This lot comprises two glazed porcelain figurines produced by the Spanish manufacturer Lladró. The first figurine, known as “Donkey in Love” (model number 4524), depicts a stylised reclining donkey or foal with its head turned back towards its hindquarters, finished in a palette of muted beige, cream, and grey tones. The base features an underglaze blue Lladró factory stamp and several incised markings. The second figurine, titled “Basket of Puppies”, depicts three puppy heads emerging from a woven-effect basket. The basket features a tall handle topped with a large pink bow and is decorated with small encrusted porcelain flowers and foliage. The base bears the underglaze blue Lladró factory stamp and a copyright mark reading DAISA 1984. Both items are handmade in Spain.
