A Regency Style Pierced and Embossed Brass Umbrella Stand
Description
A brass umbrella or stick stand of cylindrical form, designed in the Regency style. The piece is constructed from sheet brass and features a pierced upper gallery decorated with rows of quatrefoil motifs. The main body is detailed with an all-over embossed lattice pattern and is flanked by two cast brass lion-mask ring handles. The stand is supported by a weighted, circular stepped base. No manufacturer marks are present on the exterior or base. A handwritten auction lot label is adhered to the interior rim.
