A Pair of Wharfedale Linton 2 Speakers and a Turntable Attributed to Garrard
Description
A vintage hi-fi audio system comprising a pair of shelf-mounted speakers and a record player. The speakers are identified as the Linton 2 model, manufactured in England by Rank Wharfedale Ltd. of Idle, Bradford. Both the speaker cabinets and the turntable plinth are finished in a wood veneer. The speakers feature dark brown textured fabric grilles, each adorned with a metallic W logo featuring a dancing figure. The turntable is housed in a matching wood veneer plinth and is equipped with a smoked acrylic hinged dust cover and a turntable mat bearing the Garrard logo. This is a solid-state system. The lot includes an original instruction manual titled How to get the best from your Linton 2 Speakers. A manufacturer label on the rear of a speaker is marked LINTON 2, SERIAL NO. 2W 86532 A, MADE IN ENGLAND BY RANK WHARFEDALE LTD. IDLE, BRADFORD, YORKS.
