Description
A collection of silver lustre decorated earthenware teaware, in the style of mid-20th century British manufacturers such as Sadler, James Kent, or Price & Kensington. The group comprises various forms including a teapot, creamers, and bowls. The teapot features a bulbous body with a cream-coloured ground and black transfer-printed foliate decoration, complemented by silver lustre on the spout, handle, and lid. One twin-handled bowl displays a yellow floral and vine pattern over a silver lustre ground. A matching cream jug and footed bowl are finished in a cobalt blue glaze with multi-coloured floral sprigs and broad silver lustre bands. A further small creamer is finished with a full silver lustre exterior. No factory marks are visible to the undersides; a handwritten adhesive label marked 105 is present on the teapot lid.
Teapot height: approximately 18cm.
