A Late 19th or Early 20th Century Three-Panel Folding Room Divider
Description
A three-panel folding room divider dating from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. Each rectangular panel is upholstered in a sage green fabric featuring a repeating floral spray pattern of pink and white blossoms set amongst aquatic foliage. The textile displays characteristics of a silk brocade. The panels are joined by small metal hinges. The underlying frame construction is obscured by the upholstery but appears consistent with traditional period techniques. No maker’s marks, labels, or retailer stamps are present.
