A Pair of Fort Royal Review English Heritage Range Cold-Cast Resin Warrior Busts
Description
A pair of cold-cast bronze-effect resin busts from the English Heritage Range, produced by Fort Royal Review, Worcester, England. The collection includes a depiction of an Anglo-Saxon warrior (c. 800 A.D.) and a Viking warrior (c. 900 A.D.). The Anglo-Saxon figure is modelled wearing a helmet with a nasal guard and cheek flaps over a chainmail hauberk. The Viking figure features a spectacled-style helmet, a full beard, and a quilted tunic. Each sculpture is mounted upon an integrated cylindrical pedestal with a stepped base. The undersides are finished with green felt and bear original gold foil labels for Fort Royal Review, Worcester, Made in England.
