A Mid-Century Modern Teak Coffee Table, Circa 1960s
Description
A Mid-Century Modern coffee table, characteristic of British furniture production from the 1960s or 1970s. The table is constructed with a long rectangular teak-veneered top featuring a subtle bevel to the underside of the long edges. The base consists of a simple frame supporting four splayed and tapered solid wood legs. No maker marks or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces or legs; however, the form is consistent with designs attributed to Trevor Chinn for Gordon Russell. A contemporary auction lot label is present on the front edge of the tabletop.
