Mid-century Modern Teak Veneer Bureau Cabinet circa 1960s
Description
A mid-century modern bureau cabinet of single-piece construction, finished in teak veneers. The unit is arranged in three distinct sections. The upper tier comprises a display cabinet with two sliding clear glass doors and a single interior shelf. The central section features a fall-front desk which opens to a fitted interior containing six vertical pigeonhole compartments and a small central drawer with a red pull handle. The lower section consists of a cupboard enclosed by two sliding wooden doors. The fall-front is equipped with two circular brass-tone pull handles. The entire unit is supported by four tapered square-section legs, each terminating in a metal caster. No manufacturer stamps or labels are visible.
