Description
A contemporary woven wicker picnic hamper of traditional form, the interior fitted with a white fabric liner featuring a printed strawberry motif. The hamper contains a selection of stainless steel flatware with white plastic handles and four clear glass tumblers with decorative ruffled rims. Accompanied by a large circular colourless pressed glass platter, decorated with a complex geometric starburst and hobnail motif and finished with a scalloped rim; the platter is housed in a brown textured presentation case with a padded cream fabric interior. Completing the lot is a dark-stained wooden storage box with a hinged lid, opening to reveal a three-compartment interior with brass-toned hinges. Late 20th century. Dimensions unavailable.
