A Pair of Early 20th Century Leather Travel Suitcases including The Jacobson of Leeds
Description
A pair of vintage travel suitcases dating from the early to mid-20th century, constructed from leather or a similar heavy-duty composite material. The larger suitcase is finished in a tan colour and features two metal locks with central buckles and reinforced corners. It retains a worn paper label for The Jacobson, A. Jacobson, Leeds. The second, smaller suitcase has a slimmer profile with a central handle and an oval maker’s mark for Koffs. Both items represent classic British travel luggage from the pre-war era. Dimensions: Larger case approximately 65cm x 42cm x 20cm; smaller case approximately 55cm x 35cm x 15cm.
