Silverplated Teapot and Associated Silver plated ware items, Late 19th Century
Description
silver plated teapot by circa 1890, featuring a globular body with ornate embossed scrollwork, a curved spout, and a hinged lid surmounted by a bird finial. The handle is fitted with insulators to protect the hand from heat. Included in the lot is a tapered silver-plated coffee or chocolate pot decorated with neoclassical engraved laurel wreaths and a flat-topped lid, alongside a tall, trumpet-shaped silver-plated vase with a flared rim and stepped circular base. Teapot height 22cm, Vase height 25cm, Coffee pot height 18cm.
