Description
A comprehensive assortment of vintage and modern costume jewellery presented in a red tray. The collection features a diverse range of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and brooches constructed primarily from silver-tone and gold-tone base metals. Materials include faux pearls, turquoise-coloured and multi-coloured glass and plastic beads, wood, enamel, and various synthetic stones. Notable items include a necklace featuring hammered silver-tone discs in a black presentation box, several torque-style necklaces with metal and leather-effect components, and chunky chain-link necklaces. The lot also contains various bangles and cuff bracelets, some accented with rhinestones or shell-like inlays. Included are several pairs of earrings on original retail cards, including gold-tone studs with titanium posts from House of Fraser and nickel-free designs. The pieces demonstrate various construction techniques, including beaded strands on cord, cast metal elements, and both prong-set and glue-set synthetic gems.
