Description
A substantial and diverse bulk lot of miniature glazed stoneware figurines produced by Wade Ceramics, England. The collection primarily comprises various Whimsies series and promotional items for Red Rose Tea, including the Endangered Species and North American Animal series. Subjects feature a wide array of fauna such as elephants, primates, various dog breeds, owls, songbirds, tortoises, rabbits, horses, and aquatic life, alongside nursery rhyme characters. Also included is a small circular green-glazed ceramic dish with a central transfer-print of a bird. Many pieces bear the embossed WADE ENGLAND or WADE factory mark to the base. Height approximately 0.5 to 1.5 inches.
