A Hanson Fine English China Tea Service with Yellow Floral Decoration
Description
A partial tea service manufactured by Hanson Fine English China, comprising six teacups, six saucers, a twin-handled cake plate, and a cream jug. The pieces are fashioned from white glazed fine china featuring fluted bodies and scalloped rims. The decoration consists of transfer-printed floral sprays in a palette of yellow, mustard, and olive green. Each piece is marked to the underside with a blue transfer-printed backstamp featuring a crown and a Staffordshire bottle kiln logo, inscribed HANSON FINE ENGLISH CHINA. This set reflects the popular floral styles of mid-20th-century English domestic ware. Cake plate diameter: 23 cm.
