United Design Stone Critters and Assorted Canine Figurines
Description
A varied collection of animal figurines, primarily featuring canine subjects. The lot includes several Stone Critters by United Design, notable for their distinctive textured resin finish, including three Schnauzers and a dog curled upon a rocky base. Complementing these are various glazed and bisque ceramic pieces, including a Jack Russell Terrier, a buff-coloured Cocker Spaniel puppy, a Scottish Terrier, and a small white dog seated in a woven-effect basket. The collection is rounded out by a small white bird figurine. While the porcelain pieces are characteristic of mid-20th-century commercial producers such as Beswick or Royal Doulton, no specific factory marks are visible. Heights range from 2.5 cm to 15 cm.
